1. Repotting plants improperly

Some of them probably need water once per week or just get wet.  

3. Improper light exposure

       An unsuitable amount of light may hurt your plants. Besides absorbing water and vitamins, plants also need sunlight to grow. Their leaves will get sunburned if you place them in an area of strong sunlight.        Inappropriate positioning bears negative effects on your plants. Some might assume that just watering and giving enough sunlight is what it takes to take care of plants. However, there are other factors that affect them as well, such as temperature, atmosphere, moisture, and so on. Therefore, you should place them in an appropriate room. It could be a room that air can flow through. Moreover, you should know the nature of your plants first.

5.  Inappropriate leaves cleaning

       Unsuited cleaning methods can damage plant leaves. Polishing leaves with oil can indeed make your plants look good, but no one is aware of the harmful effect lurking nearby. As time passes, the leaves that you’ve cleaned will scorch and drop because when covered in oil, leaves’ transpiration and photosynthesis process can’t function properly. Thus, if you want to clean your plants safely, wiping their leaves with a damp cloth is just enough.
